Beginner Level(A1)
- This entry-level course is designed for students with little to no background in Arabic. It introduces the Arabic alphabet, basic vocabulary, and essential phrases used in everyday life. Students will learn to pronounce letters and words correctly and will begin constructing simple sentences. Cultural insights into greetings, common courtesies, and everyday customs are integrated to enhance understanding and communication.
Beginner Level(A2)
- Building on foundational knowledge, Level 2 focuses on expanding vocabulary and strengthening comprehension skills. Students will engage in simple dialogues and start to express basic needs, preferences, and feelings. The course also introduces students to regular verbs in the present tense, basic grammatical structures, and the use of adjectives, enabling them to form more detailed sentences.
Intermediate Level (B1)
- This level aims to improve fluency through extensive conversational practice. Students will learn to handle a variety of everyday situations such as ordering food, shopping, and asking for directions. Emphasis is placed on listening skills, with more exposure to spoken Egyptian Arabic through audio recordings and video clips. Expanded vocabulary and idiomatic expressions enable students to converse more naturally and confidently.
Intermediate Level (B2)
- At this intermediate stage, students begin to engage with more complex language structures and types of discourse, including expressing opinions and hypothesizing. The curriculum includes an introduction to past and future tense verbs, allowing students to narrate past events and discuss future plans. Advanced Level (C1)
- Level 5 focuses on refining and expanding the students’ linguistic skills to include more sophisticated expressions and nuanced language. It covers various aspects of daily life and professional situations, enhancing skills in persuasion, negotiation, and formal communication. Students will be exposed to more complex cultural content, including popular Egyptian media, facilitating deeper cultural understanding and the ability to discuss topics related to Egyptian art, politics, and society.
Advanced Level (C2)
- The final level is aimed at achieving near-native proficiency in Egyptian Arabic. Students will polish their language skills to a high level of fluency and accuracy. The course deals with advanced grammatical constructions, specialized vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions. Lessons involve analyzing contemporary issues using media sources, participating in debates, and conducting presentations in Egyptian Arabic. This level prepares students to fully integrate into Egyptian society or professional environments, using the language effectively and appropriately in all contexts.
